About the Job

We are a Demand Generation & Digital Marketing Agency, providing high-quality lead generation services for technology & medical companies in a B2B space. Due to the expansion of our business, we are looking for a Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our client's Marketing and Sales teams.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Representative, you handle these tasks:

  • Conduct telephone surveys for a medical devices company in a quiet professional environment without interruptions and/or distractions.
  • Adhere to the provided script and ensure the accurate recording of feedback.
  • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients using provided lists.
  • Introduce our client’s products/services and effectively communicate the value proposition.
  • Engage potential clients in meaningful conversations to identify their needs and qualify their interests.
  • Schedule appointments or follow-up calls for the sales team to further discuss potential solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and outcomes in a CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed assigned targets for calls made, leads generated, and conversion rates.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge to confidently address client inquiries and objections.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine calling strategies and optimise lead generation efforts.

Requirements: 

  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in a B2B sales environment.
  • Experience in cold calling or telemarketing.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport over the phone.
  • Persuasive and persistent with the ability to handle objections and rejection positively.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Knowledge of using CRM software (Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot) and understanding of a BDR`s workflow.
  • Comfortable with learning new technologies.
  • Fluent in verbal and written communication in the English language.
  • Diploma or equivalent, additional education or training in sales is a plus.
